The glucose monitor system connects to a non-invasive sensor to upload glucose readings on a regular basis. It displays current values, charts the data, and monitors readings to alarm when the readings are above or below preset limits. The system consists of continuous glucose monitor hardware and continuous glucose monitor software. Sterling focused on the development, testing, and refinement of the software and hardware for the system.
