Artificial Heart Controller

The artificial heart controller is used in a hospital setting to control all aspects of the performance of the artificial heart. The system includes multiple processors in the controller to allow for redundancy due to the device being a life sustaining device. It provides a Graphical User Interface (GUI) running on a real time operating system to configure parameters and mode operations and review current operating parameters. The artificial heart controller facilitates monitoring of all controls within the system, including battery backup power to handle system issues and alarm and notifications as needed.
