Sterling Medical Devices helped with an update to a pump controller. It helped develop new firmware along with hardware. Specifically, Sterling updated the microcontroller, added the capability to measure temperature in the catheter, and added a USB hub. The schematics were generated in OrCAD, and the firmware was developed in C. The system is a Major Level of Concern system. Sterling designed the system so it can be updated in the future with ease.
