In-Vitro Diagnostic Equipment

The Challenge
  • The client required a partner to address several critical needs related to in-vitro diagnostic equipment.
  • The Client aimed to develop a groundbreaking blood culture and detection device, which would serve as the cornerstone product for their portfolio. Development needed to occur in parallel to sustaining engineering efforts aimed at maintaining their existing predicate device while building upon it.
The Complexity
  • Vantage offered a range of concepts, from thermal and motion control models to a series of group concept prototypes, including incubation, sample handling, motion control, and vial dispensing.
  • Vantage designed circuit boards and cabinets around automation control systems to facilitate the movement of samples through the platform and deliver accurate blood culture detection results.
