The Challenge

The primary objective was to architect a common hardware and software system capable of delivering advanced imaging capabilities for the client’s surgical robotic system and laparoscopic vision systems, delivering consistent user experience and future advanced imaging capabilities.

The Complexity
  • Vantage Developed a common HW and SW architecture to accommodate the surgical robotic system and the laparoscopic vision systems. This effort included circuit board design for high-speed video interfaces, a common ISP pipeline, and a SW platform to support developing advanced imaging modalities.
  • In less than 12 months we developed a common solution to deliver best in class 3D-HD image quality, precision advanced visualization features, and flexibility for the surgical robotic system and the laparoscopic vision systems.
